NATURAL DISASTER RELIEF FUND

Haiti was struck by a 7.2 magnitude Earthquake on August 14, 2021. As the death toll continues to rise and Tropical Storm Grace leaves behind inundated cities worsening the health crisis.
During the next few weeks, FHADIMAC will provide chronic disease medication and transport emergency medical instruments to the affected areas. Once the immediate needs have been addressed, FHADIMAC will then provide local medical training in these same areas and ensure the proper administration of the donated medication.

FHADIMAC needs everyone’s help. We call upon your altruistic spirit and, on your impulse, to aid those in need to give what you can. The important thing is to reach out to our brothers and sisters and help them “Live better with diabetes and hypertension.”

PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS:

  • Referral Center for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease
    FHADIMAC seeks to construct a Referral Center for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, Haiti’s first modern and integrated facility to support its ongoing programs.
  • Children with Diabetes
    Children with Diabetes Program provides free insulin, glucometers and strips to the patient.
  • Young Leaders with Diabetes/ Children’s Camp
    FHADIMAC works hardly with the objective of empowering youth leaders in Haiti to be agents of social change.
  • Medical Training
    FHADIMAC is the only foundation in Haiti capable of providing adequate training to medical professionals and their affiliated centers on diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. 
    The Ministry of Public Health (MSPP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with FHADIMAC in the National Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease Plan naming FHADIMAC as the reference center to all training and treatment of diabetic care.
